Author Guidelines

Before submitting your manuscript, please consult the Manuscript Preparation Guide.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The manuscript has not been published before and it is not under consideration for publication anywhere else
  • The format of the submission must be PDF
  • Manuscripts must be anonymized (you have to REMOVE YOUR NAME of the file’s properties) and must not have a title page. The title page should be uploaded separately and should include: 1) title of manuscript, 2) name of author(s), 3) name of department(s) and institution(s), 4) name and full postal and email address of the corresponding author
  • The word count should range between 8,000 and 11,000 words (including references). In certain cases, longer versions could be accepted
  • The text is double-spaced; uses a 12-point font (preferably Times New Roman); employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end
  • Keep footnotes at a strict minimum. Should you want to use some, please use numerated footnotes (not endnotes)
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines
  • The text has been approved by all co-authors and complies with ethical standards, including in terms of data collect (informed consent, etc.)

Privacy Statement

The names and email addresses entered in the M@n@gement journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party. The data collected from registered and non-registered users of this journal falls within the scope of the standard functioning of peer-reviewed journals. The journal’s editorial team collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with the journal. It includes information that makes communication possible for the editorial process; it is used to inform readers about the authorship and editing of content and it enables collecting aggregated data on readership behaviors. Data that will assist in developing this publishing platform may be shared with its developer Public Knowledge Project in an anonymized and aggregated form, with appropriate exceptions such as article metrics. The data will not be sold by this journal or PKP nor will it be used for purposes other than those stated here. The authors published in this journal are responsible for the human subject data that figures in the research reported here. Those involved in editing this journal seek to be compliant with industry standards for data privacy, including the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) provision for “data subject rights” that include (a) breach notification; (b) right of access; (c) the right to be forgotten; (d) data portability; and (e) privacy by design. The GDPR also allows for the recognition of “the public interest in the availability of the data,” which has a particular saliency for those involved in maintaining, with the greatest integrity possible, the public record of scholarly publishing.

Cookie Policy

A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your computer or mobile device when you visit the site. It enables the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as login, language, font size and other display preferences) over a period of time, so you don’t have to keep re-entering them whenever you come back to the site or browse from one page to another. Website visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using the M@n@gement website, with the drawback that certain features of the website may not function properly without the aid of cookies.
