Author Biography

Sophie Bollinger, BETA, University of Strasbourg, Strasbourg, France

Sophie Bollinger is associate professor at the Faculty of Economics and Management, University of Strasbourg, and at the BETA research laboratory (UMR 7522), where she co-holds the Chair in Creativity Management. Her work addresses the strategic management of organizational tensions under uncertainty, and the conditions under which seemingly contradictory objectives such as societal commitment, economic performance and the pressure to innovate become levers for innovation. She studies different activity sectors from an international perspective. She leads ECO-INNOVATE, a project funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR). Her experience in financial audit at PwC and in the finance departments of two non-profit organizations continues to inform her research. She is also visiting researcher at Pôle Mosaic – HEC Montréal (2025–2027).
