Abstract

Leadership studies is a broad and problematic domain. Few, if any, fields of research, theory, and practice in organization studies have grown as quickly and as widely. Indeed, one can be forgiven for believing that the study of and writing on leadership have grown disproportionately in both speed and volume, compared to the development of good theory and convincing research (Clegg, Kornberger & Pitsis, 2012).
